A truly co-designed OD programme.
Since a strategy change in 2015, their aim is to become a 3.0 foundation: one which is agile, learning, and collaborative, and to do this, developing a highly effective leadership culture was integral to their transformation.
Our work with the Health Foundation began through a public tender process in 2018. The client was looking for a provider that had an excellent track record of delivering complex organisational development programme and an aptitude for working in a truly co-designed way.
We began with a widespread consultative process with over 50% of the organisation, where our programme coaches went deep on understanding the challenges, motivations, and values of the Health Foundation’s people. Through a process of analysis, we worked with the client to understand the areas of development, and devised a schedule of work that would put in the foundations for the next phase of development.
One of the opportunities we identified to unify their leadership and management culture was to co-design an iterative leadership competency framework that places cause at the heart.
The commitment of the Health Foundation to developing its people is high and so we have just completed an organisation wide SDI portrait. A first of this scale, this work provides invaluable insight into individual and team working styles, as well as equipping every one of their staff with a common language of understanding.
Taking a highly collaborative approach, we are working together through coaching, bespoke skills workshops, and evidence-based analysis to support the Health Foundation in unlocking their own potential.
